then she said
  • Silken Snare
When I see him. When I see him he is not dreamy, he is not. When I see him he is not dreamy, he is not, he is not, he is not. He is sniffling. He is hiding. He is empty and shallow and deep at once and I can crawl inside of his lonely heart and fill it up. And just by filling him up I will be saved. God will notice. He will notice me and I will love him. He does not have to love me back, but I can make him if I say the right things. I can be innocent enough and fragile enough and precocious enough. I’ve heard men like these things.

I am not calculating, I am hungry. I am in love, and you haven’t said a word. So speak.
